Vintage estate item. 6\" tall. The base is 5\" across. Republican view on FDR\'s New Deal. Civilian Conservation Corp or CCC and WPA were just part of this. Very cool image. The base is a silver dollar. The eagle is trying to rise and is biting the Democrat Donkey on the tail. The donkey is \"holding down the dollar\" with government intervention in economics. The coin edge looks like a coin edge and reads \" The Depression Ass\". The top of the coin says to the donkey \"Get Up Let The Dollar Work\". The bottom appears to have been \"silver\" originally. It is cast metal and was bronzed and silvered over the coin and rising eagle. Most of the thin silver coat is gone,it weighs about a pound. A very rare, hard to find thing. A bit of American History and relevant still today.
