This is a vintage 1985 Sasha Doll No.1 to commemorate 20 years of Sasha dolls 1965 – 1985. This 20th Anniversary blonde doll is a 5-way jointed full vinyl doll. Designed by Sasha Morgenthaler, it measures 16/17 inches tall (43cm), has screened blue eyes and blonde rooted hair, and still has her hair net, with no scratches or clamp marks on the torso. The clothing is crisp and unlaundered. This doll was previously purchased by a private buyer in a non-smoking home, but is still new and has never been played with. The box shows typical shelf wear (torn corners and detached acetate window). There are very few of these dolls still available, anywhere. My shipping price does not include international sales. This Sasha doll was produced as a replica of Frido\'s first Sasha doll (Blue Cord 4101) to celebrate the production\'s twentieth anniversary in 1985. Although not a limited edition; it was available for only one year. Her outfit includes a navy blue cord dress, matching lined blue cord panties, (elastic just slightly stretched at waist and legs), white sleeveless t-shirt, white ankle socks, and blue vinyl ankle-strap shoes. The dress has Velcro closures. Also included are the Sasha wrist booklet describing the celebration, Sasha box, and Sasha silver colored wrist tag. This particular Sasha box is unique in that it shows a photo of the first blue cord Sasha on the box end and sides. The doll\'s banding is tight and she holds a pose nicely. The arm banding is white and the leg banding is brown. This doll was made in England and was manufactured by Sasha Dolls Limited Stockport Cheshire, England.
