A vintage and rare advertising poster for Bud Light circa 1980. Budweiser apparently ran this campaign to cash in on the appeal of Star Wars and other sci-fi movies and television shows from the period, although the monolith harks back to 2001: A Space Odyssey from 1968. This unique art was created with a combination of photography and illustration. It was created by hand before Photoshop. The art is not signed. The text reads “Dawn of the Best”. The poster is in very good condition, it has no folds, tack holes or sun damage. It has some very slight wear on the bottom edge. Poster measures 34.5 x 24. Poster will be carefully packed and mailed in a sturdy poster tube.
