This Lot..

A rare opportunity to purchase a Charles Horner 1940\'s Cameo Brooch pin. The framework looks like his Staybrite work but this is earlier and fully hallmarked and Silver so perhaps it is a piece which started the whole Staybrite design/collection? With a Cameo centre which looks like Bakelite or perhaps early plastic? I am presuming it is rather than a carved stone. The frame has a dotted decoration similar to faux marcasite settings. It is hallmarked with the Chester Hallmark and Date letter X for 1948 as well as C.H and the Lion Passant for Sterling Silver.

This is so different for Charles Horner and must for any collector.

It has an old C Clasp and a safety chain.
