I have for sale one of the most exquisite amazing large Hand embroidered Tablecloth, of an \'Red Roof\' Cottage/House set amongst a quintessential English cottage garden. Which includes a gorgeous pink blossom tree, with a field of life like Daffodils and purple Hyacinths - you can almost pick them they are so well embroidered :) On the sides of this stunning cloth there is a cottage garden with a bird bath, birds and sundial. Exceptionally well executed hand embroidered on a heavy weight quality off-white slub linen, using an array of small neat stitches, with an extra wide double turned mitred edge

- What a talented crafts-person to have embroidered such an amazing cloth, with such life like flowers :)

I am married to a wonderful man and have two gorgeous teenage children, I work full-timeand run this small business :)

We live out of town on a few acres, looking out on rolling green hills - Bliss :) I work in the Education Sector and so will have the school holidays off (see dates below) and will only go into town around 2 times per week to post and gather supplies!! Now that has been said- a little about me :) - I am obsessed with collecting vintage textiles and other interesting treasures ~ This has been a lifelong interest of mine :) \"I find these gorgeous \'treasures\' and bring them \'back to life\' just for you\" :)

Embroidery work is such a lost art ~ it is not as common as it was in our GrandMothers Days, and to the standard they were taught as part of \'getting ready to run their own homes\' ~ I think about the person who has spent so many hours making such beautiful linens. It truly is a lost art, and the gorgeous \'treasures\' are getting very hard to find!! ~ and so I gather them to offer to you :)

They are all washed and lightly pressed, ready to use in your home or for your own collection :)

Most items are I sell are used, second-hand, antique or vintage. I\'m not an expert but every effort is made to describe items accurately.
