Item: Up for your perusal is this fabulous find. This is an exquisite vintage Reed & Barton Sterling Silver water pitcher. No monogram. Very clean condition. Underside of base is marked with the date code for 1950, Reed & Barton Sterling X766 8 H.P. I do not know the exact age, but I am estimating circa 1950 based on the Reed & Barton date code. Estate found. These have been in the same family for over 50 years. This is a very attractive pitcher. For use or display. On my postal scale weight is about 26.5 oz which converts to 751 grams. This is too large for my jewelry scale. I have a very low reserve on this piece at $200.00. sale estimate back in 2007 was between $300-500.00 and many I have seen are listed well over $500.00. Size: Pitcher is about 8.75\" across the top from spout edge to handle. Stands about 9.0\" tall from edge of spout to top of handle. Bottom base diameter is approximately 4.65\".

A nice addition to your Reed & Barton Sterling Silver collection.

Condition: Excellent estate condition. Being sold as found. Could use a further polish. Shows age related light usage scratches and marks. This was very well cared for. I did notice one small dimple on the interior spout area. Not terrible by any means. There may be some light wear along the bottom and top rim, but overall this a stunning piece in excellent estate / vintage condition.Please see pictures.
