Vintage, mid-century Christmas decoration in the original box. Very cute Santa & Reindeer NOEL set. It originally came with 8 little candles but the candles are long gone. Made out of pottery, ceramic, could be porcelain. Painted red, green, black and gold. There is a partial red and gold foil sticker on the bottom, \"RELCO JAPAN CREATION\". Measures about 10 1/2\" long by 3\" tall by 1 1/4\" deep. In the original box it weighs 1 pound. We found it at an estate sale in San Diego, California. My best guess is that it was made around 1950. Condition: There is a crack in the \"L\". One of the Reindeer has lost the little loop that holds the chain and the chain has been waxed in behind the candle holder. There is wax residue left, the candles are all gone. Has built up dust from over the years. There is a lot of storage wear on the box, some tears and it has been reinforced with tape.All questions are welcomed. Thank you for looking. California sales tax for shipments to CA.
