A fantastic original mid 20th century ruby red art glass dish with a heavy pontil base and fabulous wavy pulled edges.
Designed as an ashtray but makes a great display item,it catches the light beautifully and looks great on a windowsill or sunny spot.
Probably an Italian Murano glass piece, it doesn\'t have a label but is very much in that style. Its very heavy and is clearly a quality piece of art glass.A highly collectable item, and in excellent condition.
An ideal gift for any art glass collector particularly if you love this red colour.
