Vintage Retro Modern Gold Tone Open Circle SCARF CLIP Brooch made in and stamped Lieba U.S.A. (circa 1966-1986). The Scarf Clip is made from a wreath-shaped piece of cast brass witha swirling CCW pattern of concentric incuse lines punctuated by 15 spear-shapedsectors so that the formed pattern resembles a rotating wheel; when the pieceor the observer moves, the ambient light is seen to rotate while reflecting thecolor of the scarf and its surroundings.The brass Clip Mechanism is soldered to the wreath-shaped piece and the heart-shapedClip has a strongspring action for positive closure and capture of the scarf or dress, for useas a Brooch. The entire piece is gold plated. Dimensions are 38.2 mm OD x 21.1 mm ID forthe Open Circle formand 23.7 x 21.6 mm ID for the heart-shaped Clip; total weight is 9.64grams. The Scarf Clip Brooch is in Very Good overall condition,with a few superficial hairline scratches visible under magnification and some minorplating wear on the back.
