Vintage Reuge Swiss Music Cigarette Lipstick Box Carousel Different and Rare:

One adult owner. Swiss Movement. I am told this is one of the rare ones Reuge made with leather...but I cannot find more details. This was in my uncle\'s house for about 50 years or so. Some people \'in the know\' did tell me they thought the top and non metal parts were leather. The metal part is gold-tone. Music mechanism works fine.(A potential buyer wrote me he thinks it is gold plated...I just do not know for sure.)10 inches tall from base to the top where there is a cupid/cherub. The top & doors of the carousel seems to be covered in leather & have pictures of people and angels dressed in (possibly) 17th century clothing. As the doors open there is, what appears to be, a Pan(?) mythological God ~ in the center playing a flute. On the bottom gold rim it has a tiny bend in the metal (see last photo)...I am told it can easily be straightened. The music box plays perfectly and turns excellently...see photos. I have tried to show as much as I can in photos; however, if you need/want more close-ups of parts of this, let me know. Thank you. I do not smell smoke on this Reuge and have no idea if this was ever around smokers years ago (my uncle did not smoke nor do I) but we both had/have pets.USA ONLY.
