Very good build of a Ryan M-2 plane in 1/48. Features good paint, decals and detail with spinning prop and glued open door to show detailed cockpit. Loaded with 2,750 pounds of fuel which gave it a range of 4,210 miles, 600 miles more than requireddistance for the journey, it took off from NYC landing in Paris 33.5 hours later winning him the $25k Orteg Prize. Powered by a Wright J5C Whirlwind engine, rated at 295 H.P. Great desk topper. Wingspan measures 11.5 inches.
