This is a stunning and rare Revillon broadtail coat in excellent vintage condition. The fur is incredibly silky and soft and the black silk lining is perfect. The collar of this coat is very unique -- it\'s wired and can be worn up or down and the belted look is incredibly chic and flattering. It\'s a timeless piece and the fur is exquisite -- a rich, lush ebony without any fading. It was very well taken care of. Revillon is a top tier furrier founded in 1723 and it is one of the most reputable fur companies in the entire world.Revillon was a fur trading company and a luxury furrier. In 1936 the company (which by this time had stores in Paris, London, New York and Montreal) sold its fur trading interests to specialize on creating couture furs. For a number of years Revillon exclusively sold to Saks Fifth Avenue stores; this arrangement endured until 1995.The size is not listed but the coat is slim -- It is probably a size 8 or 10.
