VINTAGE ROSEVILLE \"BUSHBERRY\"
HANDLED VASE 33-8\"

Up for sale is a vintageart pottery vasemade by the Roseville Pottery Companyin Zanesville, Ohio. The pattern is referred to as \"Bushberry\", introduced in 1941. The design features large, three-section leaves and clusters of berriesagainst a textured rib background. The handles look like stylized branches. At least 61 different shapes were made in this pattern. This popular design is described andillustrated on pages 31-34 in the book Warman\'s Roseville Pottery by Mark Moran.

This particular piece is the #33-8\" handled vase.It\'s in the green color against a brown background.The vasestands about 8 1/4\" tall and measures approximately 7 1/8\" wide to the ends of the handles.The underside of the base is marked with the raised Roseville logo and shape number (hard to read), as well as some factory original grease pencil marks. I purchased this vase at a recent estate sale.It\'sguaranteed to be an original Roseville piece and NOT a reproduction. Condition of this collectible Roseville vase is EXCELLENT with no chips, cracks, or fleabites. I also don\'t see any crazing. It has obviously been well cared for and is very clean inside. Overall,this Roseville vase looks fantastic and displays beautifully. It would make a fine addition to any art pottery collection.
