This sale is for a Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Factory blue and white butter pat or hanging display plate. Kronborg is a castle and stronghold in the town of Helsingør, Denmark. Immortalized as Elsinore in William Shakespeare\'s play Hamlet, Kronborg is one of the most important Renaissance castles in Northern Europe. Marked on the back is the Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Factory beehive hallmark and \"DENMARK 5/2010 KRONBORG SLOT\". It measures 3 1/4\" in diameter and other than a bit of glaze crazing on the back it is in excellent condition.
