This wonderful Royal Doulton \"Winter\" Bunnykins cup would make a wonderful addition to any children\'s set or collection.

English Fine Bone China, hand crafted two handled ceramic mug.

The delightful Bunnykins two handled mug features Mr. and Mrs. Bunnykins sledding down a snow covered hill with their scarfs flapping in the wind, when they accidentally slide right through a snowball fight. The back of the mug shows a bunny and a mouse throwing snowballs at the bunnies and mice on the front, and in the background is a very surprised looking snowman. The top of the rim of the bowl features 12 happy bunnies running the the grass.

The Bunnykins series of Chinaware and Figurines began in the 1930\'s with the illustrations of Mary Barbara Bailey, the daughter of the General Manager of Doulton. What most people do not know about the line is that Mary was not a professional illustrator, but a nun.Bunnykins Chinaware was used by Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret for their children and has since become a popular gift for Christenings and birthdays in the English Middle Class.

The bottom of the mug is a full color stamp of three bunnies underneath the Royal Doulton logo with \'English Fine Bone China \"Bunnykins\" R & C 1936 Royal Doulton (U.K.) stamped below that.

The mug measures 3 inches tall, 3 1/2 inches in diameter at the base and 3 3/4 inches at the opening.

Mint condition collectible cup that is free form chips, cracks, and crazing. Minor marks on the bottom from being stored in the cupboard. Stored in a smoke-free Environment.
