Vintage SETH THOMAS \"Helmsman\" #1602 Nautical Brass & Wood Mantel ClockBeautiful vintage Seth Thomas mantel/shelf clock in Working Condition.Wooden base with brass & glass ship\'s wheel shaped clock face.It measures 10.5\" in length by 9.5\" in height. Cosmetically in beautiful vintage conditionshowing just typical signs of previous use/wear and age but no damage.The only functional issue seems to be that there is a \"Strike\" and \"Silent\" lever onthe face of the clock which does not seem to do anything when in either position.There is no alarm or bell that \"strikes\" every hour on the hour like some clocks do.Please note, the key shown in the photos does not fit properly however it was acquired atan estate sale with the clock so I am including it anyway. Unfortunately, there is no key included in this salethat fits the clock. However I did have the clock wound up at a clock repair shop and itdoes work Great and keeps pretty accurate time. (Loses about 1 Minute per day)The new owner will have to purchasea key that fits.
