This is a charming, vintage Mantel or Shelf clock by Seth Thomas, the oldest clock manufacturer in the United States. It dates to the late 1960\'s - early 1970\'s. It is an electric (hard-wired) alarm clock.

It is Catalog number 579, Name: Mantelette-E, Model: SS12-N. The face states that it has a lighted dial, however, I could not see that it lit up. It does work, seems to keep time well, and the alarm also has been tested and works. It is missing the plastic back housing that covers over the clockworks.

Measures approx 8-1/2\" long x 4-1/2\" tall x 1-3/4\" wide. There are felt pads on the bottom to protect your fine furniture. The electrical cord seems to be in good condition. The plastic lens cover has some light surface scratches that would be commensurate with its age. Same is true of the lovely wood case. In both cases, these are minor flaws and not particularly noticeable or style=\"font-family: jester; font-size: 13.3333330154419px;\">Buyer to pay $11.00 s/h. I ship the fastest, most economical way possible. Often, that is Priority Mail, but it may be by other means. I also usually take to the post office the same or next day that payment is received.
