This is a lovely vintage carved amethyst sterling silver pin. It appears to have been originally either part of a necklace or a pendant. It has added hardware to the back, converting it to a brooch. You can see the very small loops on all four sides, two of which have a wire twist still remaining in the loop. Pin stem slightly bent, but works fine. Measures 1 3/8\" by 1\" and weighs 9.5g. No markings noted, but has been tested and verified. In overall good condition.
