This lot is for a stunning Vintage Chinese Filigree Bracelet, with striking enamel and a gold wash (gold vermeil) finish over Chinese Silver. This heirloom bracelet from China has five domed Amethyst segments, which contain a beautiful Amethyst Gem, each gem is in pristine condition, in a natural nugget type form (each slightly different) with not a single sign of wear. Surrounding each naturally shaped amethyst is exquisite enameling in sort of floral design with filagree curliques or swirls. Enameling has two shades of blue, royal blue and a lighter blue and also some purple. Exquisite gift for Valentine\'s Day.I have no way to tell the exact age of the bracelet, however, judging by its style and similar pieces on the market, it was made somewhere between 1920 and 1930 Art Deco period. The clasp is a box clasp with a safety chain for ease of adornment and removal. The chain will also keep the bracelet on in case the box clasp is accidentally opened, though the closure is quite secure.
