Vintage Sajen White Elephant Mother of Pearl Sterling Silver Pendant w/ Gems, 3\" Longfrom my personal collectionI purchased this through ValueVision over 15 years ago; it doesn\'t come with original box or papers but it\'s got Sajen\'s logo in the back (see pictures).This piece was made in Bali; it\'s made of sterling silver with hand-carved mother of pearl in the shape of a white elephant. The elephant with the trunk upward is symbolic of good luck; it\'s even more good luck when it\'s a white elephant. The mother of pearl elephant is encased in silver with hand-made wire spiral designs also in silver.It has a piece of amethyst geode; I don\'t recall when they spoke about this specific piece but the geode has a line that looks like citrine enclosure inside the amethyst which happens sometimes in quartz when the two exist together.The bail has a burnished amethyst (see pictures). This pendant is in vintage condition; it\'s intact but the silver is a little tarnished, it needs polish.It\'s a beautiful piece of hand-crafted jewelry made in Indonesia by people who\'ve done this work for generations, you will love it!Note - we don\'t charge for handling; the shipping cost is 100% the cost to ship; we will try keep the shipping cost low whenever possible; if we find a cheaper way, we do refund shipping overcharge.WE COMBINE SHIPPING!Thank you for looking!
