Time for a little Spring housecleaning! I\'m selling a few select pairs from my collection ofvintage and worn sneakers. Many of these styles were discontinuedyears ago. Most were purchased on over the past 14 years or so,but some I bought in other places.

I\'ve done my best to provide accuratedescriptions. Please study the photographs carefully and let me knowif you have any questions. As collectors know, it\'s impossible topredict the long-term wearability of a vintage pair of sneakers. Somewill hold up fine to regular wear, while others are more fragile. Youshould not, of course, expect the same level of wearability as youwould get from a brand new pair of sneakers. I\'m sorry, but returnswill not be accepted. If you have questions, ask!

All items are -- or will be -- cleanedas per standards. Ours is a non-smoking house, but I can\'t vouchfor the original owner (unless it was me).

Here is a great vintage pair of SearsThe Winner high-top sneakers. These were made by Converse for Sears.Made in the USA! This style dates from the 1970\'s. The black rubberis a rare variation not often seen. The size is not marked, but incomparison to other similar pairs I believe them to be size 8.Measured on the bottom of the sole, the length is 28.6 cm (11.3inches), and the width at the ball of the foot is 9.4 cm (3.7inches).

As you can see from the photographs,they have a moderate amount of wear but are in generally goodcondition. The rubber is still fairly soft and flexible. This is avery rare and unusual pair of vintage sneakers -- you will not findanother like it on .
