Up for sale is a 48\" Mahogany and Brass Mason\'s level. The ink silkscreen on the wood is \'ServiSTAR\' (the house brand for American Hardware and Supply back in the day), but the rubber endcaps are \'Johnson\'; this is a model 548 level manufactured for ServiSTAR by Johnson. The level is in good vintage condition; with minor wear on the rolled double angle, screwless brass binding. The mahogany has aged to a very nice dark hue, and loks to have been well maintained and oiled. There are some minor scratches and finish wear on the Mahogany, but there are no cracks gouges in the wood. All 6 curved vials bubble inserts are all present, sealed, and clearly legible.
