Up for sale is this Vintage Sessions Silent Chime Mantel Clock. It does not come with key. I was able to wind it with a universal key that I have. Cosmetically it is in good condition. The wood is in good condition, it does have a few small scratches and nicks in it. The clock face in good condition. Glass is good condition no cracks or scratches.The backside door has instructions for clock with Westminster 1 stamped on it. Inside on movement it reads, \"THE SESSIONS CLOCK CO. FORESTVILLE CONN U.S.A. PATENT NO. 1700506\".
The clock runs well and keeps great time. The chimes are the issue , it will chime every fifteen minutes but does not play the entire Westminster music , it will play 4 or 5 notes each time and that is all. I know it has a silent mode but my key does not fit the arbors for the fast / slow or the silent mode. I don\'t know where to begin on fixing it so I am going to let one of you experts have the pleasure. As I said it does runs and keep time but I would love to hear it play all of the notes it is supposed to. The clock itself measures 21 1/2 long , 10 inches high and 6 inches deep, it weighs a little over 7 pounds.
This does not come with a key but does have the sessions pendulum in it. For the above reasons I am selling this clock for parts or repairs.
