VINTAGE 1947 ROOKWOOD ART POTTERY CREAMER AND SUGAR BOWL

The featured items represent a set of art pottery creamer and sugar bowl by Rookwood Pottery Company of Cincinnati, Ohio.

The bowl measures approximately 2\" tall, 3\" in diameter at the opening and 2 1/8\" in diameter at the foot ring. The creamer is about 3 1/4\" from the floor to the tallest points of the spout, 3 1/2\" between the tip of the spout and the back of the handle and 1 3/8\" in diameter at the foot ring.

The pieces are glazed in mate pink and marked on the bases with the company\'s logo made of backwards letter R and letter P, surrounded by flames, Roman numeral \"XLVII\" for the year of production 1947, shape number \"547\" and letter \"C\" on the creamer and \"S\" on the bowl.

The items come in very good condition with no cracks, chips or repairs. Normal vintage wear like small scuffs, marks and scratches here and there.
