Offered is a set of four antique wood folding chairs.The chairs measures 35\" tall x 16\" wide x 18\" across the bottom.I believe these chairs are made of oak.The design of the chair is different than most of the wood folding chairs listed on – there is a groove on either side of the back piece and the seat slides up and down the groove when you open and close the chair. This is similar to the Snyder chairs I\'ve seen listed. Take a close look at the side views and you will see how these chairs differ from most of the wood folding chairs listed.Two of the chairs are unbroken and two have a flaw. One of the chairs is missing a seventh slat in the seat and one of the chairs has tape around the heavy wooden dowel that runs across the back legs. I assume that there is a split in the wood but I don\'t want to take the tape off to see the extent of the damage hidden by the tape.I know very little about vintage wooden chairs, so please let the photos be your guide and email with questions.Our American Legion is raising funds to build a new Legion post building and this was part of the estate of one of our members.The Buy It Now price I have listed reflects sales which have ended in the past 60 days.
