Vintage Seth Thomas Electric Self-starting Tambour Chime Clock. Clock works and chimes great. Tested several days. Keeps perfect time. It chimes on the half quarter and the hour. Chimes a single hammer sound on the half. One the hour it chimes a single hammer sound melody, and the amount of the time it is on. The clock casing is wood. Has a nice chine to it. The clock measures 20\" X 9.5\" tall X 5\" deep. The Clock is Circa 30\'s or 40\'s.. It does have a humming noise. Very nice working clock. The chime sound is very nice clear and loud. . Front glass is beveled. The door in front closes, but not firmly. Clock comes with a starting key. Only use it, if clock does not startright away. Place key , as shown in picture. Turn it two to three times. Clock will than start. I have yet to need to to start it. May need it if clock is not started for a long time. See Video on youtube.
