Pen has not been tested now worked on.The cap and barrel are in good condition. Light general wear to finish as would be expected for a sued but not abused, fountain pen. The cap snaps securely onto the section. There are no personalizations. Unlike most, LIFETIME does not appear on the clip. The trim is in very good condition with little to no brassing. This pen looks very presentable.The beautiful streamlined Sheaffer inlaid nib is made from 14K gold, marked 585 in addition to 14K and U.S.A. Please note the small bend on the tip of the nib. I will not affect function, but could be easily straightened. There is plenty of tipping material at the point. The nib engravings are well preserved and are easily readable.
