Up for sale a used but in outstanding condition Sheaffer Touchdown Valiant fountain pen with a 14k Triumph nip. The roll stamps are sharp as are details on the nib. The touchdown system needs to be restored, it won\'t draw water. The pump handle seams to run smoothly, though I haven\'t used any other with which to compare. There is a buldge in the barrel near where the hidden cap/handle for the piston. I believe this is a TM (Thin Model) due to the buldge and the lack of a serial number on the nib.I hoped it worked as the seller, as many also claim, said they had no idea how the pen works. I researched how to service the pen but I am intimidated by whatever resin or glue sealing the mjor components together.
