Pics # 1, 2, 3, and 4 show the pot while we rotated it around, so you have an idea of how it looks all around. On pic # 4 we added a ruler so you can see the pot is about 6 1/2\" tall with the lid, and 5\" tall without the lid. The diameter across the bottom is 6\".
It weighs approximately 3 lbs 3 oz un-boxed, just the pot and its lid. It is a rather thick, heavy piece, for its size.Pics # 5 and 6 show the bottom, where you see a number and the word Italy written in the handwriting style we have seen in several Londi pieces, a couple that we have owned, and several whose photos are available on the web and on .
Because of the way Italy is written, we are certain this is an original Londi piece, although we are no experts or collectors of this type of pottery, so please check the photos and ask for more information if needed.
Because of the colors of the glaze and the design of the surface, we believe this is a piece made by Londi for the Bitossi pottery.
The pot has a beautiful green glaze inside, check pic # 12.
