Fabulously sculptural and in the Patricia Von Musulin icon style is this big (did she do anything small?) swirl sterling silver cuff bracelet. It looks like soft swirl ice cream shape to me. Her work was always bold and not for the shy person. This is wearable artShe\'s an American designer and all of her pieces are handmade in New York City. Her jewelry is in the Metropolitan Museum of Modern art. This was probably made in the late 1980s to early 1990s. There are a few little nicks on the edges from wear but nothing distracting or unexpected from vintage jewelry. Her work is in the permanent collections of \"The Metropolitan Museum of Art\", \"The Boston Museum of Fine Arts\", \"The National Museum of American History of the Smithsonian Institution\" as well as \"The Museum at the Fashion institute of Technology\". This fantastic cuff weighs a whopping 112 grams, fully marked. sterling and VON MUSULIN.In good vintage condition. Some scratches as shown in photos. These would benefit from a good buff. One small rough spot, picture 2 at about 1:00 o\'clock, 1/16 inch long. Please look at all photos.This will fit a small wrist. The Inner space measures 2 inches wide, 1 1/4 inches deep. Definitely for a petite wrist, no more than 5 1/2 inches around, especially as it is so wonderfully wide at about 1 inch at the front. Gap of about 1 1/8 inches. My wrist, behind the bones is 6\" and the bracelet fits perfect and snug as it should. It your wrist is larger it won\'t be wearable.
