This is a fabulous enameled butterfly pin signed by the well known jeweler Hroar Prydz of Norway. This is a strikingly beautiful sterling silver sage and sepia guilloche enamel butterfly.

Exquisitely beautiful vintage Scandinavian modernist butterfly in excellent vintage condition, with no damage to its structure or the enamelling.

The detail in the coloration as well as the pattern of veins is superb. Circa 1950.

Signed ‘Sterling 925S’ then the ‘pacman’ hallmark for Hroar Prydz, then ‘Norway’. JEJ is below, which is for Jens Erik Jensen, the designer.
