Here is a highly and very well engraved vintage 800 silver powder compact of an unusual or shell shape. Beautifully engraved on the front and back with a flower, foliage and basket(?) design. The edges are also engraved with a foliage motif. There is a great reflective quality to the engraving. This compact is in great condition with no ding or dents. The hinge is in good working condition and the compact closes sharply and securely. The beveled mirror has some minor reflective loss to one side....see photos. The original powder screen is in place and in very good condition. The compact is marked ITALY 800 on the inside cover. It measures approximately 3 1/2\" x 2 3/4\" x 3/8\" and weighs approximately 68.1 grams (2.4 oz). It would benefit from a light cleaning.Free shipping to U.S. for buy it now price.
