For sale is a beautiful vintage Singer 301 long bed sewing machine that has been repainted Purple, serial #NA213931, manufactured in the 1950s, according to the Singer website. Exterior parts were removed, cleaned and sanded, then primed and repainted , water slide decals applied, clear coated and reassembled. I\'ve used this sewing machine and it sews well. It is an all-metal, gear-driven sewing machine and has a very powerful motor, therefore, it is a strong-running machine for quilting and all other types of sewing...very good for free-motion quilting, also, with feed dogs that drop. It has been oiled, gears lubricated, a new bobbin winder tire installed, new light bulb, new felt on bottom cover. Weighing only about 17 pounds, it is ideal for classes, etc, with a carrying handle, it is very portable. Comes with foot controller, power cords, BOBBIN CASE, bobbin, new needle, all-purpose foot, and a copy of the instruction manual. From a non-smoking household.
