Vintage Singer Buttonholer with NINE Buttonhole Templates,Teal Case,1960,Antique:

This vintage Singer buttonholer is from 1960 and comes in the teal \"treasure chest\" style case. The hinge on the case lid is broken so I hold the 2 pieces together with a rubber band. It comes with the buttonholer attachment, the needle plate cover, and9 buttonhole templates including 5/16\", 3/8\", 1/2\" (2 of them), 5/8\", 13/16\", 15/16\", 1 1/16 straight, and 1 1/16\" keyhole. Most of these vintage buttonholers you\'ll find from this era only had 4 templates so this is a real find! The needle plate cover does have some surface rust (see picture) but it doesn\'t interfere with function at all. The original instruction booklet is missing but I have downloaded and printed a copy from the Singer website and included it. I have not personally tested this attachment since I don\'t have an old machine to test it on but when I hand crank the dial on the top, it rotates around like it\'s supposed to so I\'m assuming everything works ok.
