The box is 4\" x 3\" x 1 1/2\" thick.The oval shape is 3 1/2 X 2 3/4 to the edge of the spring.These are approximate dimensions.This sock darner can be used with almost any sewing machine. It should be used in conjunction with a darning/ embroidery presser foot. The sock darner is in excellent condition. The black finish shows hardly any use.
