This is a beautiful vintage sweater and skirt set that was purchased in a trunk with a large Nannette doll. Inside the trunk was a small card that read “Doll Clothes by Ruth Kratt”. Ruth made exquisite doll fashions for local doll shops and department stores in the Chicago area. The rosey textured cotton skirt closes in back with one original snap. The sweater has pearl “flower” embellishments and a shawl collar and 3 original buttons down the front. The pink and white striped sweater tops off the skirt perfectly. Well cared for and stored, neither piece is soiled or torn. I would say this outfit would fit a 20” Doll—the waistband of the skirt measures about 4-1/2” across as it lays.
