In the world of Snoopy, Leonard Silver was best known for their silver-plated banks. However, in 1979 they made a series of gold tone and silver plated flat metal Christmas ornaments featuring Snoopy and some of the other PEANUTS characters.

Some of these flat metal ornaments were 2-1/2\" round, and a few were heart-shaped. I believe they were all produced in 1979. Some of them had an area on the face of the ornamentto have a name engraved by your local silversmith.

Thisitem features one gold tone and one silver -plated in the same design (Santa Snoopy, Woodstock and five snowmen). The gold tone ornament is in very good vintage condition, while the silver plated shows more signs of wear.

Silver is #7181 and the gold tone is #7182.
