The NSP dangling emblem is solid 10 Karat Gold with 2 brilliant diamonds (tested) and looks like a single sapphire, measures 1/2\" across signed 10K CTO. The tie clasp itself is 1/20 12K gold filled made by O.C. Tanner and is 2 1/2\" across with the cord chain falling about 2 1/2\" below. NSP stands for Northern States Power which is now Excel Energy. It is absolutely a gorgeous piece of history! I got 2 old NSP awards (the other one I listed yesterday) This one I couldn\'t weigh accurately without taking it apart but it seems to be basically the same size/weight as the other one I listed, but with diamonds!!! So, I\'ll assume the scrap/melt value is similar. It\'s a beautiful piece of Utility/Power Companies History. The \"MELT/SCRAP\" value on this as of Fridays close is over 29.00 just for the NSP part plus you get the Gold Filled tie clasp and those lovely diamonds!!
