Vintage Solid Brass Ornate Inkwell

Ornate hinged top looks like a door knob. Finish is nice but will need some cleaning. Base is 4 inches square andit stands 3 inches tall. The interior is clean and with minor green corrosion. Includes insert. Very nice for desk top use. Age is hard to determine the reverse side is not marked. Hinge is in good condition, strong and sturdy.
