Offered is this cast brass, fox head door knocker. Most of these you see on the net are small at 6\"-7\" long, but this one is approx. 10 1/2\" long, by 4\" wide, by 3 1/4\" deep. By itself, this piece weighs just over 3 1/4 pounds. I do not know the age or history of this piece, as I purchased it at a local estate sale, but it was found in a display case inside the house and appears to have never been mounted or used. It is in excellent overall condition.
