Click to View Image Album This was made in Solingen, that mark is clear, but I cant make out the makers name, it definitely ends with a E and maybe an I or L in front of that. It measures 4 1/8 closed, has 2 blades and a corkscrew. It is an older knife and has a wooden handle. Not sure of the age but my Grandfather brought it over from Germany in 1922, and I don\'t know how long he had it then. I didn\'t clean it as people like the patina.****PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU offer!!!!**** This will help avoid misunderstandings. Regarding used/antique items: I may describe their condition as good, poor, excellent, but this is with reference to a used/antique item, so if it is \"excellent\" but used, please dont expect a new item. I cant list every tiny scratch, etc. I like to sell a variety of items, from banged up and cheap to nice new ones because everybody needs something. Chances are that if I am selling something for $1.00 it is not worth $1,000.00. Please look at the pictures, you can enlarge them so you can get a good look at what you are about to offer on, I try to take pics of all sides. Smells???? I sell lots of used tack and it will have some sort of smell or the other, please dont ask me to describe or list that. (I am serious here, LOL!!!) I don\'t represent any maker of the items I sell, new or used, so I can\'t vouch for or give a waranty to the quality, construction or usability of the item. Because of all this, you will be getting a item at below its fair market value compared to if you purchased it in a \"live\" situation. I do want people to be happy with what they purchased. Signature confirmation by the post office will also be required on items over $250., which means I can no longer take offers from non-US countries.This is due to the new rules. I use delivery confirmation. Please give them 7-10 business days to get a box to you. I can usually mail it out within 3 business days of receipt of payment, unless you remit your payment late and I cant pack it up after work. I will hold off from mailing saddles in bad weather because I dont want to ship a soggy box. I will file non-paying buyer alerts with if I have to. The gullet measurement should be more accurate, you can compare it to a saddle you know fits. FAQ: I don\'t know \"what kind of a horse it was used on\" and a \"picture of the front\" will not tell you if it will fit your horse. If I tell you what make a saddle is, its because thats clearly marked on the saddle. If not, I don\'t know and won\'t guess.English seat sizes are measured from the rivet on the pommel to the center back edge of the cantle. Western saddles are measured from the base of the back of the horn to the middle of the cantle where the cheyenne roll is stitched on. My pics showed no rips. It wasnt ripped when I had it. He then sent me a pic of the underside with a small, very visable rip. We went back and forth and a couple of days later he sent me another pic showing that the rip had increased in size by a couple of inches. I spoke to and they reviewed my listing and said that I had done everything right. The buyer put in a claim and automatically found in his favor. I disputed it, asking them to actually look at the claim and my sale pictures and the pictures he sent to me. I sent my claim late on a Friday night. By Monday morning, I received an email from reversing the claim in my favor and giving me my $$ back. Thank you !!!
