I\'m selling this vintage Spode Christmas Tree charger for an elderly friend...she remembers receiving sometime in the early 1960s, but because this pattern and mark have been in use for many years, I can only rely on her memory that it\'s at least 50 years old. This piece has the dark green band around the outer edge. Measuring a full 11\" across, it\'s in excellent condition, with just two small usage marks visible when the plate is tilted just so. Fully marked on the back with a black SPODE backstamp. Delightful transfer pattern on the face of the charger is an antique Christmas tree, complete with dollies, birds, colorful Christmas ornaments and loads of wrapped presents below.
