Vintage SS. S. Jo. Neumann Relic - gold tone metal Theca Pendant that holds a relic of Saint John Neumann, bishop of Philadelphia from 1852 to 1860. He was the first male canonized from the U.S. He was born in 1811 and died in 1860 - short life. This has a little loop on the top so it can be worn as a pendant. I have not opened it. This came from a PA estate. I\'ve seen others like this with the same saint or others. It has a label inside where you see SS. S. Jo. Neumann - but I believe there is more to that label - Ex and and O before the SS. It is slightly over 1/4\" tall. I\'ve seen these in other venues from $200 to $395.See photos. (Locator Number W.6.1717.G2. - LD 3.22.18).
