This is a lovely 19th century antique French bronzed spelter statue of St Peter seated upon a throne and holding the keys to heaven.

He has an aged finish, with some rubbing back to the finish with the passage of time. In addition, his hand raised in blessing had has lost two of the fingers. In his left hand he holds the keys to heaven.

The throne is beautifully detailed at the sides with ornate patterning and scrolling edges. The front of the throne is marked Rome.

The statue is 5.5 tall and the base is 1.6\" square.
