This vintage level has been used for everything from adding built-in bookshelves to our home and making dressers and vanity sets - and we\'d like it to go to a crafty person with some building plans now that our own carpentry and woodworking days are behind us.
For those of you new to using this kind of Stanley level, you might find that the porthole level bars look off-center or even warped (as our daughter did) - but the level is designed to show true whether on it\'s side length-wise, or standing on its end in a vertical configuration.
We\'ve seen similar items sell for more than what we\'re asking - but our goal is to get this fine piece of old-world craftsmanship into the right hands so that it can be appreciated - or used - as it was designed to be.
