You are looking at a vintage 18\" miter box made in the USA by Stanley between 1904 - 1942. This nice old miter box is only marked on the saw holders with the word \"Stanley\". This model has cam locks to fasten the posts rather than screws, and the blade release is very different from later models. The bed is 18\" long and has a wooden sacrificial plate on top. The arm adjusts from90 - 45 degrees with the front squeeze lever. It has positive lock at every mark. This model is supposed to have a 20\" X 4\" back saw (not included). The piece works well and the surface has been cleaned and repainted. The posts are rust free and also operate well. This is a rare piece for the collector or the enthusiast.
