Original, vintage, Star Wars Kenner Early Bird set.
These are the original 4 Star Wars Kenner action figures that were available a few months prior to the retail release of the action figures in stores.
They were available through mail order only straight from Kenner and released during Christmas of 1977.
The set of four figures includes: Luke Skywalker (with RARE DOUBLE TELESCOPING LIGHTSABER), Princess Leia, R2-D2 and Chewbacca.
The set also included plastic foot pegs that could be used with a display stand that could be ordered separately.
I have had this set since new in 1977. Other than age of being stored, they are in the same condition as received. The baggies were never sealed with the exception of a fold and a bit of tape. As you can see in the pictures, the original shipping box is a bit beat up and shows its age. Luke\'s double telescoping lightsaber has a bend in it as well. All in all, the figures are still in great condition.
