Vintage Sterling Carved Amethyst Nugget Art Deco Nouveau Necklace Signed China?:

This beautiful old necklace measures 16 1/2 inches from end to end and the drop is 1 1/4 inch. There are 4 beautifully carved translucent amethyst stones set in sterling open back bezels with the exception of the center dangle which hand from a wire bale. The backs of the bezels are marked sterling in a few places. The chain is not sterling and probably brass. There is a stamp on the loop portion of the spring clasp but it\'s small and not easy to read. It\'s possible the chain is not original to the necklace but it is old. The bottom portion is possibly Chinese import but I\'m not real sure. The carved amethyst stones are beautiful and in wonderful vintage shape.
