This is a pretty little comport shaped nut dish with pierced designs and gadrooned edges top and bottom. It measures app. 3\" diameter at the top x 2.33\" high and weighs app. 64.2 grams with a slightly weighted base for balast, It is fully hallmarked by the Birmingham assay office for 1921 with the makers initials M&J for Marson & Jones (this company\'s registration ended in 1937. If you look carefully at the central picture where the bowl is tilted slightly towards you there is a tiny nick that can be seen in the base on the left hand side but it is otherwise in very good condition apart from needing a clean.
