Vintage Sterling Silver Overlay and Glass Salt & Pepper Shakers Mexican 925 :

Unique open cut sterling silver over glass salt and pepper shakers. The shakers have a pedestal base and an overlay of sterling silver delicately engraved with roses and leaves. The screw on tops are easily removed and the pedestal base sit firmly on surface.

These pieces are in very good vintage condition with no damage to the delicate filigree work and has wear that is consistent with its age and intended purpose.

Maker: Sterling ELA 925 Mexico - Eagle insignia on top portion of open work was a hallmark used in Mexico beginning in 1948 and ending around 1955.

Dimensions: Height - 5\"; Widest Diameter - 4-1/2\"
